In a small room overflowing with possessions, Levy woke up.

She lay on the wooden floor with nothing but a thin blanket, owning no decent bedding.
Levy was a specialist in unauthorized, illegal missions for the A.R.K.S.—commonly referred to as “dark missions.”
Though her pay was substantial, her expensive hobbies—buying tea and doctor coats—and the high cost of maintaining her mechanized body always left her impoverished.

Levy was a cyborg who had replaced her organs with mechanical counterparts after suffering severe bodily injuries in her childhood to survive. Thus, just like others manage their health, she needed regular maintenance for her artificial organs, which also required significant amounts of electricity.
Levy only consumed tea and supplements. She suffered from anorexia and was unable to taste food properly.
Levy headed out for a dark mission. This time, her task was to destroy a research facility through detonation and assassinate its internal researchers.

Although dark missions deal anonymously, one would expect that it is the much maligned institute known as Void Apparatus that would issue a request of this nature.
Void Apparatus provides carfare for her assignments, however, she has an aversion to Void Apparatus.

Levy’s persecution at Oracle has even affected Void Apparatus, because no matter what Levy achieved and how many times she applied, she could not belong to the institute and could not become a researcher.

Levy excelled at murder.This is because the act of killing a person does not require photons, whereas the act of defeating a darker requires photons.

Additionally, she was brutal and relished committing grotesque murders—Levy was a serial killer who took pleasure in cruelty.
In Oracle, Levy faced persecution. She was stripped of human rights and suffered constant discrimination. To survive and live as a person, She found it necessary to loot from others.
Even while walking the streets on her way to a dark mission, strangers hurled insults at her and threw stones. Annoyed, Levy abducted a random person nearby into an alley and gruesomely killed them to calm her nerves.
Afterward, she hacked her way into the research facility. Using assassination tools, she carried out her mission. Along the way, she stole resources from the facility, transferring them to a quantum warehouse, and set explosives for the demolition.
Levy plundered the facility’s materials to her heart’s content and slaughtered the researchers inside before finally blowing up the building.
Pleased with her work, Levy cheerfully prepared to head home, only to be intercepted by a certain man.
It was a suspicious figure—a man with brown hair, adorned glasses, and a mysterious aura.
