The man told Levy, 「Don’t be frightened. I’m not going to hit you or throw stones at you like some stranger」, and he raised his hands and winked at her.

　But Levy was uncomfortable with the man. She was not well-liked enough by people to be able to pick someone out, but at least she could not like the man, a younger man who was restless, ignorant, stupid, and unable to live without a crowd.

　Levy’s preference was for an older gentleman who was intelligent, poised but imposing, a little strict but with strong convictions and a plan.

So Levy wanted to end the conversation with the man quickly, but the man pointed out the fact that Levy was publishing papers in other people’s names while she was not a researcher, and used that to blackmail her into negotiations.

The man identified himself as Dinan, one of the president of Void Apparatus’ close associates.He was friendly toward Levy, but his dislike for him oozed from his every word.

Dinan suggested to Levy, 「If you help our team, you will have access to the top-secret classified data of the Void Apparatus.」

Levy is very irritated when Dinan takes her halfway to the team room and compares her to Ruby on the way there.

The goal of the Arcs Research Club team was to “create clones,” and Levy was forced to join.

However, Levy is strongly attracted to a blue-haired Newman man in an experimental pod in the team room.
